Erin Brockovich is the true story of a desperate, single mother, who can’t find a job but also is unsuccessful in her lawsuit against a doctor. With no alternative, she convinces the lawyer who failed to win her case, to hire her as a legal assistant. She begins to investigate a suspicious real estate case involving Pacific Gas & Electric, discovering that they have polluted the city’s water. She bonds with the victims who have fallen ill as a result of negligence, and together with her boss, she makes possible an historic class action suit that will result in payment for damages by a multi-million dollar corporation to those harmed by its greed.
