Earth Week
A Good Planet is Hard to Find
Hostos Community College
Natural Sciences Department
April 18-22, 2023
International Earth Day on April 22nd offers an opportunity to raise global public awareness of the challenges to the well-being of our planet and all the life it supports. The Natural Sciences Department invites the Hostos Community College community to participate in activities around our campus that aim to educate and inspire action about environmental issues from global climate change to declining biodiversity to local air and water pollution. It is time to take collective responsibility to apply an ethical perspective in our efforts to achieve balance among the economic, social, and environmental needs of the present and future generations of humanity.
