A reinterpretation of the
2011 Hostos Design Lab’s
exhibition at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art
In August 2011, Professors Catherine Lewis and Sarah Sandman took 14 Hostos students and recent graduates to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art for Hostos Design Lab 2011. A 12-day immersive design experience, the Hostos Design Lab offered students the opportunity to investigate the question, “What is a cultural worker?” through interviews with members of the Berkshire community. In this show the student collaboratorswill retell their findings from their summer exhibition at Mass MoCA home in the Bronx.
