Professor Baker, Ph.D. in Mathematics, has recently published article on problem solving by adult student in Pre-Algebra and Algebra in Adults Learning Mathematics and the Mathematics Teachers Research Journal based upon a collaborative grant between Hostos Community College and Bronx Community College funded by CUNY. He is Deputy Chair of the Mathematics Department and is excited to be working on this poject to introduce Game Design based instruction into developmental mathematics.
