A page to say thank you to members of the Hostos community and beyond who have supported us in our project.
Without the incredible support of the Office of Academic Affairs – most notably Provost Carmen Coballes-Vega, Dean Christine Mangino, and chief grants officer Lourdes Torres as well as the persistent and energetic encouragement of President Félix V. Matos Rodriguez this project would never have seen the light of day.
It is also important to point out the role that our colleagues in the departments of mathematics, natural sciences, and education have had here. They have been incredibly helpful in guiding us and supporting the initiative.
The members of the Hostos Hive Cooperative have invested an incredible amount of energy and heart into the project, and helped make our concept of playful engagement a viable means of helping STEM phobic students achieve where they had previously thought they could not.
