The following video shares a discussion George Kuh had at the Center for Engaged Learning’s Conference on “Excellent Practices in Mentoring Undergraduate Research.”  In 2008, Kuh published a book defining a set of educational practices research demonstrated had a significant impact on student success. His ten high-impact practices have a tremendous impact on higher education. In this short video, he discusses the addition of eportfolio as an additional next high-impact practice.

George Kuh, Director of the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment, discusses ePortfolio as a high-impact practice (HIP). On July 25, 2016, at the Center for Engaged Learning’s Conference on Excellent Practices in Mentoring Undergraduate Research, Kuh identified ePortfolio as a new, eleventh entry on the list of high-impact practices often attributed to him.
