Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are the browsers most compatible with Blackboard. Make sure to install updates regularly as older versions may cause security errors. See the list of the supported browsers for Blackboard.
Besides installing the latest browser updates, make sure that you clear your browser’s cache memory regularly. A full cache may cause issues with displaying content in your browser. For example, some students reported that their “courses disappeared from Blackboard.” Luckily, this doesn’t happen often, and if it happens, it is easily fixed by clearing the browser’s cache. Most browsers allow the user to automatically clean the cache when it is restarted. Be sure to refer to the instructions on how to set this option in your preferred browser.
