Log into Blackboard
Select the course you want to make available from the My Courses module
There are two ways to make the course available to your students.
1. Click on the lock icon on the top right. That’s it.
or…
2. From Control Panel click on Customization then Properties > Set Availability > Yes under make the course available. Submit at the bottom of the page.

There are two ways to check whether the course is made available to students.
- The ‘making course available icon’ at the top right of the course will show the open lock icon.
- On the Bb Home page, the note that said (not currently available) next to the course name will be removed once you made your course available following the steps above.
Make sure that your course is in edit mode. Turn the button ON next to Edit Mode at the top right of the screen.
