BbCU session security is crucial for ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of online meetings in our institution.  In today’s digital age, remote collaboration has become more prevalent, and with this comes a greater risk of security breaches, including unauthorized access to sensitive information, cyber-attacks, and other malicious activities. This makes it essential to take the necessary measures to safeguard online sessions and student data to maintain the privacy of participants and prevent any unauthorized access to the session. Ensuring proper security measures are in place can provide peace of mind to all involved and help to maintain the trust and integrity of the session. Therefore, taking steps to enhance the security of BbCU sessions is critical in ensuring that they remain a reliable and secure platform for virtual collaboration.

One security measure is limiting screen sharing. Allow only the presenters to share their screen by changing their role in the session. Others should have a Participant status.

Another security measure is requiring participates to join from their Blackboard accounts and not via guest links.
