As tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude become more integrated into learning and teaching, understanding how to work with them is no longer optional—it is essential.

In this microlearning, you will explore how to craft prompts that produce relevant and useful results, manage the AI’s limited memory (its “context window”) for more consistent interactions, and assess the reliability and quality of AI-generated content. As important, you will learn what ethical AI use looks like in higher education, especially regarding transparency, authorship, and protecting personal or institutional data.

Whether you are just getting started or looking to sharpen your understanding, this microlearning will give you the practical, transferable skills needed to navigate GenAI confidently. Each unit includes a short interactive quiz, and learners who complete a unit will earn a digital badge recognizing their achievement and commitment to responsible AI use.
