Academic Continuity is the institution’s ability to maintain essential functions and prevent interruptions to mission-critical services during and after unpredictable, disastrous events such as natural disasters, fires, disease outbreaks, cyberattacks, and other external threats.

Instructors may wish to consider:

  • Designing their courses in multiple teaching modalities (asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid)
  • Utilizing Learning Management System capabilities

EdTech curated a list of resources that help faculty maintain instructional continuity in cases of emergency disruptions. EdTech will continue to ensure that all of our constituents have access to the necessary technology and support that may be needed for multi-modal course delivery.
