Recently, the committee has emphasized general education skills assessment in courses, and further advocates for evidence-based decision-making and for interdisciplinary sharing of assignment designs, grading techniques, and course outcomes.  Quantitative Reasoning/Quantitative Literacy is the 2014-2015 skill of the year.
