Sanjay Arya
Assistant Professor, Allied Health Sciences
Sanjay Arya is an Assistant Professor of Radiologic Technology in Allied Health Department at Hostos Community College in the Bronx NY. Professor Arya has earned his master’s degree in science (M.S.) from India with a major in cell and molecular biology and a degree in fashion management from a school affiliated with Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), NY.
He is certified in Diagnostic Radiology (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR). In addition, he is certified in Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) from American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety (ABMRS).
Professor Arya has worked at various well-known hospitals like New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, NY and St. Johns’ Hospitals as diagnostic radiologic technologist and an MRI technologist. In addition, he has worked as an assistant professor at Bronx Community College, NY before taking a full-time teaching position at Hostos Community College.
His past experiences include working in the consumer products industry in various mid-level and top management positions where he was responsible for improving business performance and operating efficiencies by sourcing new opportunities and developing partnerships.
Professor Arya brings with him significant experience and expertise across diverse cultures that will guide students to attain their potential in succeeding in their academic and professional growth.
