Nancy Genova
Nancy Genova is a Lecturer in Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences. She is the only full time faculty whose expertise is in Public Administration. She is the advisor to the Public Administrator Club. Professor Genova is considered a social activist by her peers, and has been acknowledged in a report issued by the NYS AIDS Advisory Council “Women In Peril HIV & AIDS The Rising Toll On Women of Color.” She has over twenty-five years of public administration experience as a healthcare administrator. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Long Island University and a B.A. in Social Work and Fine Arts from Lehman College.
She currently serves as President of the Board of 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. and was appointed to the Human Rights Commission of Rockland County in April 2008. The play she authored, “The Death of a Dream,” had its off-Broadway debut in October 2009 at Roy Arias Theater and continued on a college tour from 2010-2012.
