G ran Dios, ¿por qué hay tanta crueldad

E nmascarada en la brutalidad policial americana

O rquestada contra un hombre detenido, con esposas?

R ogando por un poco de aire, el pobre hombre tose.

G eorge murió preguntándose por qué rayos

E ncima de su cuello negro una rodilla blanca presionaba.

F ueron más de nueve minutos por los que sufrió

L lamando a su “¡Mamá!” Muchos filmaron su muerte

O bteniendo en sus celulares la prueba de su último respiro.

Y a casi sin vida, exclamó, “¡No puedo respirar!” Su naríz sangró…

D emandémos justicia! ¡Qué no paren las protestas por la muerte de Floyd!

G osh, why is there so much cruelty

E nveloped in the US police brutality

O n a poor man who is in handcuffs?

R eaching out for some air, he coughs.

G eorge died wondering why the heck

E bony had an ivory knee on his neck.

F or more than nine minutes, he suffered.

L ying, face down, many filmed his death

O n smartphones ‘till his very last breath.

Y elped he, “I can’t breathe!” His nose bled.

D o not stop protests! Justice for the dead!
