Elizabeth Porter

Elizabeth Porter began as Assistant Professor in the English department in January 2019. She teaches across the course levels and serves as course manager for Developmental English sections.
Prof. Porter received her Ph.D in English literature from Fordham University in 2017. Her research explores narratives of women’s experiences in eighteenth-century London. She is currently working on a book project titled “London Plots: Women and Mobility in the Eighteenth”.
