Maura Smale is a member of the Steering Committee of the CUNY Games Network, a group for faculty, staff, and students interested in game-based learning, and co-organized the first annual CUNY Games Festival conference in January, 2014. In addition to using games in teaching and learning, Maura’s research interests include undergraduate academic culture, open access publishing, and critical information literacy.
