Nearpod to Administer Quizzes

Abstract:

The presenter will share his experience utilizing Nearpod to engage students by conducting real time assessment. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the use of technology as a teaching strategy to engage students using the edutopian framework on teaching in the classroom that includes routine, accessibility, and support of curricular goals. During this session the attendees will learn how Nearpod was used in a nursing theory class, lessons learned and best practices on how to make the most of the Nearod to support student learning. The presenter will demonstrate the tool and discuss student feedback and experience.
