Lehman Community Connect: Web 2.0 as outreach to the Bronx educational community

Abstract:
As Webmaster for Lehman College, David Stevens oversees the production of more than just the Lehman College Website. This session has enlisted Lehman College’s Vice President and CIO along with its web developer and graduate fellow to speak about the ways in which educational institutions can work collaboratively to incorporate education into its outreach with Web 2.0-style community participation in mind.
Projects include the design of templates for department newsletters, the Lehman Connect Blog, and the Lehman Community Connect project (Bronx Information Portal) among others, all which have the intent of promoting and providing outreach to the Bronx educational community and beyond.
