Improving Pronunciation through Smartphones

Abstract:

This presentation describes the purpose, methodology, and effectiveness of a workshop at the Bronx Community College Writing Center on English pronunciation. The workshop entailed the use of smartphone voice recorders and aimed to improve pronunciation weaknesses identified by the instructor.
