Flipping Over Math: Computer based homework and quizzes for non-traditional students

Abstract:

I have used online based homework, in-class computerized quizzes in a “Flipped Classroom” setting as well as traditional paper homework and quizzes in a lecture instruction. My goal is to compare these two techniques and point out some advantages and disadvantages of both approaches. Students’ opinions will also be presented.
