Abstract:

Our focus this past year was to use our existing technology to improve student readiness, achievement, and retention in an online class. It is vital that distant learners receive the same support and guidance as in-house students benefit from, easing some of the pressures for faculty and staff in an E-Learning environment. Including our work strengthening our support systems for students, we have continued to foster an easy transition for students entering online courses for the first time, relieving faculty and staff of clerical and administrative challenges.
