Congratulations to Nelson Nunez-Rodriguez, Unit Coordinator and Professor in the Natural Sciences Department, whose $3,029,763 NIH grant in partnership with Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Lehman College (Biology Department) has been renewed! About this grant Professor Nunez-Rodriguez wrote, “…this 5-year commitment will continue providing a teaching training for research post-docs in our institution and allocating funds to enhance our science curriculum as was done in the previous 2012-2018 grant period.” Professor Nunez highlighted that more than eight post-docs have secured academic positions after receiving training in the program. Additionally, he plans to articulate this program with the Black Male Initiative in our institution.
Congratulations Professor Nunez-Rodriguez
