Inmaculada Lara-Bonilla, Assistant Professor
LHumanities Department

This project charts the contributions of Chicana author Gloria E. Anzaldúa (1942-2004) to late 20th century queer, decolonial feminist thought by examining her ideas in compositional aesthetics and phenomenology. It includes work with a Hostos undergraduate student who will help utilize archival sources  collected at the Benson Library for Latin American Studies of the University of Texas-Austin, and participate in a conference at University of Texas-San Antonio.
