Approaching its tenth season, EdCast is proud to announce it is the recipient of a 2017 Silver TELLY, its most prestigious accolade. This award acknowledges our program, Teaching the Holocaust: “Yesterday’s History, Today’s Response.” The show reports on the work of a celebrated Holocaust education program for teachers across the country developed and run by Dr. Sondra Perl, respected and awarded Professor Emerita of Lehman College and the CUNY Graduate Center. The program serves as a timely and relevant reminder of the lessons of the Holocaust for the U.S. and the world today. EdCast is a co-production of Lehman College and Hostos Community College and is the only program of its kind created and produced by educators. Jerry Barnard (Lehman – Emmy Winner) is the Executive Producer of the show and Dr. Linda Hirsch (Hostos) is the Producer and Host. * EdCast may be seen on CUNY-TV, WNYE, and BronxNet.
