Free Information Literacy Workshops for Students

This semester CUNY EDGE and Title V are collaborating to offer free information literacy workshops for students. Professor Lisa Tappeiner from the Library Department has designed a six-week curriculum which will be offered to students every Tuesday starting on September 26. These specialized workshops are designed to help students strengthen their research skills. Students who attend all six sessions and complete all assignments will receive a certificate of completion may become eligible to serve as paid research assistants for SURF (Student Undergraduate Research with Faculty) faculty in the spring ’18 semester. All students are welcome to participate and interested students should contact Ms. Lillian Almonte,, in the Title V Office located in B-419. Please share this opportunity with the students in your classes.
