Professor Jennifer Tang, assistant professor in the library, received a Creative Writing Fellowship from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). Reflecting on the award, Professor Tang stated, “I’m gratified that VCCA liked my work and awarded me a residency based on it. I’m excited because it gives me time and space to finish writing my memoir. I’m also looking forward to networking and forming new collaborations with other artists. VCCA invites artists from all over the world. I hope the residency will allow me to not only finish this project, but inspire me to start new ones. LEARN MORE
