The John Calandra Italian American Institute housed at Queens College struck gold this year when they recently announced that Hostos’ own Dr. Marcella Bencivenni, while continuing her duties at our beloved college, had also graciously agreed to be the new editor of the “Italian American Review (IAR).” The IAR is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal which publishes scholarly articles about the history and culture of Italian Americans as well as other aspects of the Italian diaspora. http://bit.ly/1OyUop7
