The New York City Science and Engineering Fair, the largest high school research competition in NYC, is sponsored by the New York City Department of Education and the City University of New York. Each year, hundreds of students participate from all over the five boroughs.
NYCSEF is affiliated with the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Winners of the NYCSEF competition will represent Team NYC at the INTEL ISEF and compete for more than $4,000,000 in awards.
For more than nine years, Hostos faculty of the Natural Sciences Department at Hostos Community College have came in force to judge the high school projects and support future scientists; many of whom select to study at Hostos Community College. This year event was held on Sunday, March 6 from 9:30am-2:00 pm.
