Supported by Title V and in collaboration with the Writing Center, a small group tutorial intervention pilot has been launched to assist students who continuously persist yet fail to pass their reading and writing exams. The tutorial is designed to support developmental reading and writing students who have not met their basic skills requirement after several attempts. Students meet three hours per week and integrate reading and writing skills development along with learning software. Also, to improve connections between student support and small group tutorials and to provide a more focused support for student, access to an array of services is available as we seek to integrate academic programs, support services and technology to effectively address their needs.
